“The landscapes I paint do not represent an observed place, but what is built out of it.”
When I am in my studio, I paint accompanied only by a good cup of coffee and music that wraps around me. My paternal roots come from Europe, but my spirit and my native essence sprang up and took flesh in Guayaquil, Ecuador.
Each work is an imaginary journey, from the moment I conceive it until the last brushstroke. On that journey I set my creativity free and prepare myself to move the world, capturing the essence and beauty of nature, the gifts of the land and the life of its people.
That is why the landscapes I paint do not simply represent nature or an observed place, but what is built out of them.
